Role: Lead Cloud Engineer
Location: Paris – 2 days onsite per week

Overview
We are looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to join a development team supporting critical market infrastructure. The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and VMware. The position combines hands-on engineering with mentoring and automation to ensure optimal performance and reliability in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain resilient cloud infrastructure for critical applications
- Implement automation, monitoring, and operational tools to improve efficiency
- Lead pre-launch support, capacity planning, and incident response
- Mentor team members on system availability, performance, and automation best practices
- Manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), containerized environments, and backup/recovery strategies
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure scalability and reliability
- Participate in on-call rotations and support operational workflows
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in Cloud Engineering, SRE, or similar roles in regulated or highly available environments
- Expertise in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and VMware
- Strong scripting and automation skills: Python, Bash, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Linux/Unix systems
- Systems monitoring, capacity management, and adherence to risk control frameworks
