This role offers a hands-on opportunity to shape and implement cloud strategies within a dynamic infrastructure team focused on innovation and scalability. As a Cloud Engineer, you will lead the design and deployment of cutting-edge Azure cloud solutions, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost management. You will play a critical role in driving the cloud transformation roadmap, supporting business teams, and maintaining strong governance and technological oversight in a fast-evolving environment.
Accountabilities:
- Propose innovative cloud solutions such as PaaS and containerization, ensuring high performance and scalability
- Lead the implementation of cloud solutions in partnership with Data, DevOps, Systems, Network, and Security teams
- Define and maintain governance frameworks to expand cloud adoption across business units
- Establish and monitor FinOps dashboards for effective cloud cost management
- Conduct continuous technological watch to keep cloud infrastructure aligned with industry best practices
- Ensure strict adherence to security best practices throughout cloud operations
- Produce thorough technical documentation for all cloud projects
Requirements
- Master's degree (BAC +5) from an engineering school or university with at least 5 years of experience in Azure cloud technologies; certifications are a plus
- Strong technical expertise in systems and network administration
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven experience managing projects with multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and ARM templates
- Commitment to "security by design" principles
- Experience with native cloud projects and cloud migration initiatives
