Freelance Senior Cloud Architect – Azure Migration Specialist!
We are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Architect with expertise in migrating on-premise systems to Azure. This freelance role involves leading large-scale migration projects, designing secure and scalable cloud architectures, and ensuring seamless transitions of legacy infrastructures to Azure cloud.
Responsibilities:
- Be involved migration from on-premise infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures to support enterprise applications and data.
- Oversee the migration of applications, databases, and workloads to Azure.
- Optimize Azure solutions for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement cloud-native services on Azure, such as Kafka and Timeseries DB.
- Develop and manage Azure data pipelines and event-driven architectures.
- Guide the migration lifecycle, ensuring integration, security, and performance.
- Stay updated on Azure services, tools, and best practices to deliver innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in Solution Architecture, with 5+ years focused on Azure migration and cloud strategy.
- Proven experience designing and migrating on-premise systems to Azure cloud platforms.
- Expertise in Azure services, including Azure Migrate, AKS, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL.
- Experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and Cosmos DB on Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and Agile methodologies.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage complex migration tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and collaborative, with a flexible approach to challenges.
